D-Shaped Whirlpool Baths
D-shaped whirlpool baths are the perfect compromise for those who desire the high-end aesthetic of a freestanding tub but require the practical, space-saving installation of a back-to-wall model. Characterised by a flat rear edge and a soft, semicircular front, these baths sit flush against a single straight wall, eliminating the difficult-to-clean gaps associated with true freestanding designs. This unique silhouette creates a stunning focal point in any modern bathroom, offering a "freestanding look" even in rooms where floor space or plumbing layouts are restricted.
At Luna Spas, our D-shaped collection is specifically chosen for its deep-soak ergonomics and contemporary appeal. Each tub is hand-fitted with our bespoke hydrotherapy systems in our UK workshop, ensuring that the elegant curves of the D-shape are perfectly complemented by powerful, targeted jet placement. Whether you are upgrading a family bathroom or designing a minimalist sanctuary, these baths provide a luxurious, symmetrical bathing experience that is as functional as it is beautiful.

The Versatility of Back-to-Wall Design
Unlike corner baths or traditional inset tubs, the D-shaped bath allows for entry from three sides, making it a popular choice for busy family homes. It is particularly effective for parents bathing young children, as it provides more standing room around the tub. Our models also feature the child-proof Safe-Flow chrome suction filter as standard for total peace of mind.
- Modern Focal Point: Achieve a boutique hotel look without a complete bathroom reconfiguration.
- Symmetrical Comfort: Double-ended designs allow you to soak comfortably at either end.
- UK Engineering: Every bath is customized with fully-draining, hygienic pipework to prevent water stagnation.
